Abstract
This chapter discussed the problems associated with inefficient agricultural water use, including critical groundwater declines, saltwater intrusion, and competition for water among water users, including power generation, drinking water supplies, and minimum stream flows among the effects caused by the lack of efficiency in agricultural water use.
