Abstract
At the same time, it is necessary to constantly improve competences related to nursing care, there is a shortage of tools used for permanent education of the professionals involved in direct assistance of patients with central venous catheters, a prolific field for the development and using of based solutions in mobility. This study presents an application for mobile devices in which the contents can be accessed regarding the correct handling of central venous catheters. The prototype has been evaluated by healthcare workers, presenting promising results regarding the use of mobile applications for permanent education of nurses.
