Il existe des rapports étroits sentre les infections parasitaires et l’immunité générale ou intestinale. Le diagnostic de parasitose de l’intestin grêle n’est habituellement pas du domaine de la radiologie puisqu’il est affirmé par l’examen parasitologique des selles, le tubage duodenal ou le sérodiagnostic. Néanmoins, certaines parasitoses peuvent se manifester par des signes digestifs, qui font prescrire un examen baryte de l’intestin grêle; le radiologiste doit connaître leur sémiologie pour en évoquer le diagnostic.
