Abstrait

La dysplasie fibromusculaire (DFM) est un groupe de maladies non athéroscléreuses et non inflammatoires de la musculeuse des parois artérielles, qui atteignent les artères de petit et moyen calibres, particulièrement les artères rénales (1, 2). La DFM peut entraîner une sténose des artères rénales et une hypertension artérielle (HTA) rénovasculaire; à ce titre, elle est recherchée chez des femmes jeunes ayant une hypertension artérielle (HTA) récente. La DFM peut être familiale (OMIM #135580) (3–6).
