Abstract
You could call the activities in this chapter Robinson Crusoe games, or games of concentration, as easily as “puzzles.” They are thought games, mental gymnastics for the solitary player — in other words, true brainteasers. But instead of being stranded on a desert island, consider yourself alone with your video screen. Novices are advised to store in provisions: you may be at it a while.
