Electroorientation Studies on Electrophysical Properties of Erythrocytes in Radio-Frequency Range of Alternating Electric Field

  • Chapter
Electromagnetic Fields and Biomembranes

Abstract

In recent years electroorientation methods based on optical registration of the orientation effect produced by alternating electric field /1,2/ and various electrophysical models /2,3,4,5/ have been intensively used to study electrophysical properties of cells, in particular permittivity (P), electroconductivity (EC) and polarizability.
