Abstract
Machines are delivered to the factory site from the manufacturer either completely assembled or in large modules that need to be assembled when they are in the room where they will be used. Sometimes the machines are in the modular form for ease of transport and because fully assembled they would be too large to go through doorways or along factory corridors. Before the machine is assembled by the fitters or power connected by the electricians, factory services will have been installed. After the machine fitters have assembled the machine on-site the electricians connect the cables from one module to another and connect the electrical supply to the machine. It is then ready for testing.
