Abstract
The intent of this chapter is to illustrate the use of a pituitary isograft to provide hormonal stimulation of the mammary gland. This chapter describes the procedure for implanting the pituitary gland under the kidney capsule and the consequences of the grafted pituitary for normal development of the mammary gland and for facilitating neoplastic transformation induced by chemical carcinogens.
