Abstract
We shall utilize this preliminary chapter, to classify various types of dynamic systems with delay (past history or memory), and offer precise definitions of initial value problems in various cases showing how the initial sets can vary. We shall also differentiate between equations which contain unbounded delay terms but need finite or infinite memory or past history and provide suitable framework for discussing such equations.
