Abstract
“Ontology” is a philosophical discipline, a branch of philosophy that deals with the nature and the organization of being. The term “Ontology” has been introduced by Aristotle in Metaphysics, IV, 1. In the context of research on “Ontology”, philosophers try to answer questions “what being is?” and “what are the features common to all beings?”.
A sign, a representamen, is something which stands to somebody for something in some respect or capacity. —(Peirce, 1885)
