Abstract

As it results from the literature data, the problem of 12 CaO. 7 Al2O3 polymorphism has not been fully explained until now. The authors have obtained some new informations concerning 12 CaO. 7 Al2O3 polymorphs and polymorphic transitions1,2,3. These data allow to improve the production of self-disintegrating sinter consisting of 12 CaO. 7 Al2O3 and calcium orthosilicate — the semi-product in J. Grzymek’s alumina technology4,5.
