Abstract
The purpose of this chapter is to show how the decomposition theory of linear autonomous and periodic systems can be used to obtain results for “perturbed” linear systems. This theory together with a natural adaptation of the methods for ordinary differential equations yield the results in an elementary manner. No attempt is made to present the results in the most general form since our primary concern is to indicate the variety of problems to which the methods are applicable.
