Abstract
The consensual definition of creativity, my assumptions about the nature of creativity assessment, and the requirements of an appropriate methodology for a social psychology of creativity led to the development of the consensual assessment technique used in my research. Before presenting studies that employed the technique and assessing the extent to which it meets the criteria for creativity measurement in social psychology, I will describe the major features of the technique in some detail.
