Abstract
Child self-esteem was assessed at Wave 1 with two self-report questionnaires: the Child Skill Checklist, which assessed the domains of social and academic skills; and the Child Perception Scale (Kaplan, 1975), which assessed global self-esteem. The two scales correlated .30.
