Abstract
Computers and workstations are appearing in a rapidly increasing number of places and types of applications. As technology improves, people who only a few years ago would never have dreamed of using such a machine are now finding them a part of their everyday lives. These people are increasingly non-technical, and have needs that go far beyond raw MIPS and bandwidth.
