Abstract
In Chapters 3 through 5, linear dynamical modeling has been developed for homogeneous, sandwich, and laminated composite plates. Now that plate equations are available, they can be applied directly to the linear vibration analysis of a finite-sized as well as an infinite plate. In this chapter, some topics on free and forced linear vibration analysis of finite plates have been selected.
