Abstract
In 1995, the Center for Public Service Communications (CPSC) was asked by the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) to review private sector trends in telemedicine and to assess telemedicine trends and projects within the VHA. The study gathered information regarding current telemedicinerelated activities and plans for future program expansion. Site visits were made to key centers chosen for the range of telemedicine technologies and applications being undertaken or contemplated.
