Abstract

The development and flight testing of this control law have demonstrated the practicality of H techniques. Aerospace applications may particularly benefit from this kind of design approach because of their high coupling and inherent multivariable nature. In the process of the design, many issues concerned with design and implementation of both multivariable and H-infinity optimal controllers have been addressed. The result is an exremely powerful overall design methodology which could be applied to a multitude of other problems.
