Abstract
In this last chapter we will briefly discuss high temperature applications of infrared thermography. Strictly speaking, this is not a prime field of application for what we have called active TNDE. However, since infrared equipment can be employed in high temperature contexts, it was found interesting to include a short discussion on this subject in this book (for instance both AGEMA model 880 and Inframetrics model 760 radiometers are capable of measurement up to 1500 °C).
