Abstract
From the previous chapters it should be clear that the different imaging modalities may provide the same type of information in the investigation of musculoskeletal tumors, while in several important aspects they complement each other. A total diagnostic work-up is expensive and may be inconvenient and tiresome for the patient. Therefore, protocols should be sought that give optimal information with as few examinations as possible.
