Abstract
It is often said that a picture paints a thousand words. Unusually for such cliches, professionals in a wide range of areas and disciplines demonstrate the truth of this every day as they use drawings to record, communicate and test their ideas. From rough sketch maps to intricate blueprints, drawings are a ubiquitous and highly valuable tool.
