Abstract
Ultrasonic tomography with back-scattered field is based on three assumptions: low contrast medium (biological medium), large frequency range signal (echographic signal), dense and complete sets of projection. If these are ideally verified, we can construct images of the impedance of the medium. This technique, which we called Acoustical Impedance Tomography [1], involves an algorithm based on First-Order Born Approximation.
