Abstract

One-component acoustic waves localized near a planar defect in a crystal with FCC lattice are studied on the basis of the microscopic equations using the vector model. It is shown that due to the subsurface distortion in an area of the interface the eigen solutions of such a boundary problem are divided into symmetrical and antisymmetrical relatively to the plane of the defect. The properties of the high and low frequency vibrations of the both types of eigen solutions are studied.
