Abstract

The subject of this part of the investigation of Marx’s writings on interest and profit, is the analysis of the competitive forces bringing about related movements of these rates. These sections of Marx’s writings, like those dealt with previously, have been neglected in the economic literature. Yet, it will be shown that, in this case too, his views deserve more attention that they have received.
