Abstract
This contribution is associated with one of the analytic trends, originating from the recent work by Piero Sraffa (1960), which go back to the classical economists. To be more exact, the present writer, as the reader will be able to see from what follows, has re-examined in modern terms a series of problems that are typical of the theory of David Ricardo.
A paper very similar to this was presented by the author at three different seminars — in Barcelona, in Geneva and in Tokyo.
