Abstract

In a deleted scene, Rick Deckard visits Dave Holden, being kept alive in a life-support pod after his ill-fated interview of Leon, in order to pick up some clues that might help him to track down the replicants. His fellow blade runner’s philosophical perspicacity startles Deckard:

Holden: Don’t you see what they’re after? Who they’re looking for?

Deckard: What? Who?

Holden: God.

Deckard: God….

‘It’s not an easy thing to meet your maker.’
