Abstract
After his retirement in 1951, Brouwer made a number of trips abroad. He visited England, South Africa, Finland, and the USA and Canada. His correspondence was accordingly dealing with these trips and accompanying lectures. Another part of the correspondence was devoted to a plethora of logical and philosophical societies. There were also matters of a financial nature, such as the sale of the pharmacy, the last will of his wife, …. In general, the personal correspondence assumed the character of an exchange between old friends and kindred spirits.
