Abstract

Data broadcast is an effective public data dissemination method from an Internet server to numerous mobile clients. There have been various broadcast schemes based either on mobile users’ data access frequencies or on semantic relations of data. In this paper, we present an efficient data broadcast scheme based on not only data access frequencies but also semantic relationship to improve mobile users’ data access time.

This research was supported by the next-generation new technology development program of Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy in Korea, and in part by Institute for Applied Science and Technology of Sogang University.
