Abstract
Any molecular electronic circuitry will involve the transport of information carriers and the storage of information. We discuss in this lecture possible "molecular" information carriers such as: electrons, solitons, polarons and bipolarons and their corresponding antiparticles. Storage of information may be facilitated by switching the state of bi- or multistable molecules. Different possibilities are discussed.
