Abstract
This work deals with the development of a method for assessing the antifriction characteristics of friction pairs with solid-lubricating coatings for an arbitrary combination of the load and velocity parameters of friction using the dependences of the friction temperature on these load and velocity parameters of the operation of the pairs and the correlation dependences of the coefficient of friction on the friction temperature. Based on the experimental data and the information reported in the literature, the dependences for the friction pairs of various compositions are obtained for normal atmospheric and vacuum conditions.
