Abstract
The distribution of radionuclides in the soil catena from the bank of the Desna River to the watershed is studied. It is found that changes in the concentration of radionuclides in certain sampling points do not exceed the value of experimental error. The contamination density of 137Cs in the studied area coincides with the values of the forecast maps developed by the Federal Service for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring. Intense burrowing activity of moles affecting the redistribution of radionuclides is observed.
