In this paper, there was an arithmetical error in the original corneal nerve fiber area algorithm; the reported corneal nerve fiber area values are too small. To obtain the correct corneal nerve fiber values, multiply by 2.26. To normalize corneal nerve fiber area per mm2 (i.e., µm2/mm2) multiply the corrected value by 6.32. The authors regret this oversight.
