Abstract
Properties of transverse momentum spectra and rapidity dependence of protons and antiprotons in Au−Au collisions at \(\sqrt {s_{NN} } = 200\) GeV are discussed. The net-proton yields are approximately constant at |y| < 1 and increases towards y ≈ 3. The mean rapidity loss is estimated to be in the range of 1.9 < δy <2.4.
