Afgelopen maand ben ik in de Verenigde Staten op vakantie geweest. Het land waar alles groot is, veel, hoog, lang en waar alles in maat, getal en rangorde wordt uitgedrukt. Het land van de uitersten die vooral in de grote steden schrijnend naar buiten komen.
