Correction to: Indian J Pediatr
In Introduction, 4th line “In India, the reported prevalance of IEM is 1 in 2497 newborns [2] although the true pan India prevalence still remains unknown [3]” has to be rewritten as “In India, the estimated prevalance of IEM is 1 in 2497 newborns [2] although the true pan India prevalence still remains unknown [3].” The word ‘reported’ has to be replaced by ‘estimated’. Also the reference 2 provided by the author is a cross reference and should be replaced with “Verma IC. Burden of genetic disorders in India. Indian J Pediatr. 2000;67(12):893-8.”
