Abstract
A 24-year-old man had multiple, grouped, sharply circumscribed, variable-sized albinotic spots resembling polar bear tracks in both fundi. His visual acuity, visual field, color vision, dark adaptation, and electroretinographic and electro-oculographic findings were normal in both eyes. No progression of the fundus lesions or of visual and electrophysiologic functions in the patient was noted during the 36-month follow-up. The patient's father had whitish spots similar to drusen in both fundi.
