Résumé
Le sinus pilonidal est une affection fréquente chez le sujet jeune. Il n’existe actuellement pas de consensus sur le traitement chirurgical de cette pathologie. À l’hôpital Léopold-Bellan, comme dans de nombreux centres en France, nous préférons l’excision « à ciel ouvert », suivie d’une cicatrisation dirigée attentivement surveillée afin de limiter les récidives.
Abstract
Pilonidal sinus is a frequent pathology in young people. No consensus has been made for the surgical treatment of this disease. At the Leopold-Bellan hospital, as in many centers in France, we prefer lay open excision followed by controlled healing which is carefully monitored to limit recurrences.
