Retraction Note: Journal of Polymer Research (2023) 31:8
The Editor-in-Chief has retracted this article after concerns were raised about some of the data reported. The journal was initially contacted by the Authors, who expressed concern about their reliance on TEM and AFM imaging to determine the degree of phase separation in PS-NS and PE-TS proton exchange membranes, and about their having not accounted for the thickness of the proton exchange and Nafion115 membranes in their comparison of the two. Upon further investigation by the Publisher, areas of apparent overlap were also identified both within and between several images published in Figs. 4 and 5. The Authors were unable to provide the raw image files for these figures upon request by the Publisher. The Editor-in-Chief therefore no longer has confidence in the reliability of this article.
Separately, author Jiaqi Deng has stated that they did not consent to being named as an author on this article.
Zongwen Qiao and Jiaqi Deng agree with this retraction. Tao Chen did not respond to correspondence from the Publisher about this retraction.
