Abstract
For the first time, we present a passively Q-switched 1060 nm Nd:GSAG laser using a two-dimensional molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) nanosheet as saturable absorber. We investigate in detail the output characteristics of this laser such as average output power, pulse repetition rate, pulse width, pulse energy, and pulse peak power.
