Abstract
We study the characteristics of a xenon-lamp-pumped dye (PM567) laser with different molar concentrations, inner diameters of the glass tube, resonators, and condenser cavities. The experimental setup uses ordinary industrial products without any special design. We study the dependences of the laser-output energy and other laser characteristics on the configurations of the resonator and the components used. We succeed in obtaining an output energy efficiency with respect to the electrical stored energy of 0.433% and a slope efficiency of 0.498%.
