Abstract
Simultaneous generation of the second and third harmonics in periodically-poled and chirped-periodically-poled lithium niobate (PPLN and CPPLN) is studied numerically taking into account mismatches and dispersions of the group velocities of interacting laser pulses. It is shown that CPPLN frequency converters can be successfully used for creating multicolor short laser pulses.
