Abstract
A physical and mathematical model and a “TEPOL” 2D code are developed for simulation of laser annealing of thin ferroelectric heterostructures. The results of a test problem calculation are presented. An opportunity for improving the sample heating homogeneity using a transparent coating for the laser beam layer is discussed.
