Abstract
The historical aspects of the synthesis, study, and application of heterocyclic azo compounds of the pyridine series in analytical chemistry are considered. The number of reagents and methods used for detection, separation, and preconcentration; the variety of samples; and the analytical ranges are increasing progressively.
