Abstract
The PANDA experiment at the future FAIR facility in Darmstadt, Germany, will use interactions of antiprotons with nucleons or nuclei to investigate fundamental questions of hadron and nuclear physics. Here, a brief overview of the physics programme is given, focusing on a few selected topics.
