Abstract
Apolipoprotein B metabolism can be investigated in-vivo either by exogenous radiolabeling of preformed lipoproteins or by endogenous labelling of de-novo synthesized apo B using a stable isotope substituted amino acid tracer. The potential of both methods and results obtained by in-vivo studies in genetically determined dys- or hyperlipidaemic subjects will be discussed.
