Abstract
We study the properties of section conditions of the E 7(+7) exceptional field theory from the perspective of superparticle model in \( \mathcal{N}=8 \) D = 4 superspace enlarged by additional bosonic coordinates related to the central charge of the maximal supersymmetry superalgebra. In particular, the superparticle model suggests that only a part of the section conditions corresponding to generators of SU(8) subgroup of E 7(+7) is independent, and we show that this part indeed suffices to obtain the (classical counterpart of the) general solution of the strong section condition.
