L’apprentissage de l’échoendoscopie commence souvent par l’exploration gastrique du fait des facilités de positionnement de l’appareil et de la diversité des structures anatomiques accessibles par cette voie.
En fait cette facilité n’est qu’apparente et cet examen transgastrique mérite à la fois une bonne expérience et beaucoup d’attention de l’opérateur si l’on veut en retirer toutes les informations nécessaires au diagnostic.
« Comment j’explore ? » nécessite en fait de répondre à 3 questions : comment ? avec quel type d’appareils ? et pourquoi j’explore ?
Summary
It is frequent, when learning endosonography to start with stomach exploration, because of the easiness with which the apparatus can be positioned and of the variety of anatomical structures that can be reached via this organ.
Nevertheless, this easiness is only apparent and if we wish to collect all the information necessary for diagnostic purposes, transgastric examination needs to be conducted by a well experienced and particularly attentive operator.
In fact “How do I explore? ” requires answering 3 questions: How? Which kind of apparatus? and what am I exploring for?
