Summary
DNA from nuclei ofTetrahymena pyriformis was examined by equilibrium density gradient ultracentrifugation at alkaline pH. The results indicate that the DNA has a uniform distribution of guanine plus thymine in the complementary strands and throughout the nucleotide sequence of the DNA.
