Abstract
A new version of the non-magnet time-of-flight mass spectrometer reflectron is described. The method of operation, which allows to separate packets of ions with different masses both by their time-of-flight and by their deflection angle in the deflection system, the operation of which is synchronizes the arrival time of the ions with the focusing plane of this time-of-flight mass spectrometer is outlined.
