Summary
In the presence of β-glucosidase from almond, a 90% glucose solution gave four kind of β-linked glucose-disaccharides. The yield increased as the concentration of glucose was increased and as the reaction temperature was raised. The maximum yield of disaccharides from 90% glucose solution was 40% at 55°C.
